Fixated On...the radio?

Big news people!! Fixated On, are spreading our wings a little bit.  We were not content with ruling the podcast roost, so we have joined forces with LeedsIndieRadio to broadcast our show. 
The new format of the show will not be a million miles away from how it has been.  It will still feature Steve Shooter with a different guest host every week, only this time there will be the best of unsigned bands in the Yorkshire area playing too. 
Guests currently scheduled for the show include Simon D. Heaven, Laura Reynolds, Julia Mann and the boys from Zomblogalypse, Miles & Tony.  There will be many other guests joining me over the coming weeks too.

Fixated On...Tracy Tidswell

In which Steve is joined by the Coconut Woman, Tracy Tidswell.  Although this is the 5th episode released it was actually the 1st one recorded, and one of the most fun.  I only knew Tracy from Twitter and so meeting was a little odd but I greatly enjoyed having her as a guest to help me shape the show, in it's infancy!

We talked about Tracy's flourishing writing career as a writer of rudery! We also covered all kinds of other nonsense, including how much I want to punch Bono in the face...

Fixated On...Miles Watts

In episode 4 of the show, Steve is joined by York film-maker Miles Watts for a chat.  Miles is another multi-hyphenate, writer, director, actor type.  He has made a couple of feature films based almost entirely in and around York, as well as being at the forefront of the Web-series movement, with Zomblogalypse.

Fixated On...Julia Mann

This weeks guest is the most lovely Julia Mann.  As described by herself on the episode, Julia is a writer, a mother, and all sorts of other stuff! I met Julia through the medium of Twitter, much like many of the hosts who will appear on the show.  Her tweets are a delight for me, always cheer me up and it was a great pleasure to have her be a guest on my little show.  The audio quality is a lot better than the first episode, I think due to the difference in time zones.  We talked about how relevant the Royal Family are on both sides of the pond, and loads of other things.

FixatedOn...

The first episode of 'FixatedOn...' is online now.  It features Steve talking to actress and fabulous lady Nikki Griffin.  You may know Nikki from a multi-episode arc on 'The OC' where she played Jess, and did not meet a pleasant end. 

You may also know her from roles in The Dukes Of Hazzard, Fast And Furious: Tokyo Drift and various other projects. 

She came to be guest host, we talked zombie apocalypse, our weapons of choice, our favourite TV shows, travel plans and this weeks 'Rant Of The Week'.  The rant is based on Steve's hatred for flip flops!
